Our 16-member recruiting team supports hiring across various roles, including sales representatives, installers, subcontractors, brand ambassadors, support staff, and leadership positions. To optimize and scale our hiring processes, we are seeking a Director of Recruiting Operations to lead efficiency efforts and drive strategic improvements. 

Position Overview: 

The Director of Recruiting Operations (RecOps) is responsible for overseeing and streamlining the entire recruitment process, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. This role will apply operations methodologies to enhance hiring strategies, optimize resources, and improve the overall candidate experience. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven decision-making to refine recruitment workflows, implement innovative solutions, and align recruiting strategies with business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning & Leadership: 

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies in alignment with company-wide goals. 
  • Partner with executives to advance engagement and fulfillment outcomes across the organization. 
  • Lead, develop, and execute a recruitment operations strategy that enhances candidate experience and hiring efficiency. 

Process Optimization & Technology Implementation: 

  • Identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process, optimize workflows, and implement new technologies. 
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. 
  • Identify and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance recruitment operations. 

Data Analytics & Performance Metrics: 

  • Track key recruiting metrics, analyze data trends, and provide insights to stakeholders. 
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) for sourcing platforms, staffing partners, and productivity tools. 
  • Drive decision-making using a data-driven approach, ensuring regular analysis of relevant data and analytics. 

Recruiting Efficiency & Cost Management: 

  • Develop and manage the recruiting budget, ensuring cost-effective talent acquisition. 
  • Oversee recruitment systems, reporting, analytics, and employer branding initiatives. 
  • Improve hiring processes to ensure the consistent hiring of high-quality candidates across all business units. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: 

  • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. 
  • Manage relationships with recruitment vendors and agencies. 
  • Support the VP of Talent Acquisition by overseeing all operational aspects of recruiting and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. 

Talent Development & Retention: 

  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions for new hires. 
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve recruitment operations. 
  • Support a robust retention program aimed at reducing turnover and fostering accountability.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience. 
  • At least 5 years of directly relatable experience in recruitment operations.
