As part of this transformation, we are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst - Sales and Marketing to enhance our financial planning and analysis capabilities in these critical business functions.

 

Position Overview:
The Senior FP&A Analyst - Sales and Marketing will be a strategic finance partner to the marketing and sales organizations, helping to optimize marketing channel efficiencies and ensuring the right demand and capacity models are in place for effective call center and sales team staffing. This individual will play a crucial role in driving financial insights, maximizing return on advertising spend (ROAS), and contributing key inputs for forecasting and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the marketing team to analyze and optimize marketing channel performance, ensuring efficient allocation of marketing investments to maximize ROAS and return on marketing investment (ROMI).
  • Develop and maintain demand and capacity models to ensure proper staffing at the call center and among sales representatives, supporting an optimal balance of resources and customer demand.
  • Support rolling forecasts and provide strategic financial inputs to drive the annual budgeting process for sales and marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), track performance trends, and develop actionable insights to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop robust financial models that support marketing campaign planning, promotional strategies, and salesforce productivity.
  • Work closely with sales operations and marketing analytics teams to ensure alignment between financial projections and operational execution.
  • Conduct variance analysis on sales and marketing financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and presentations, translating complex financial data into actionable business insights.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a sales- or marketing-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales financial metrics, including ROAS, ROMI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and sales conversion rates.
  • Experience with demand planning, capacity modeling, and workforce planning.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
